FLORA
MaterialThermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU)
FLORA is an experimental 3D printed garment created for the exhibition The Fabric of the City, held in 2015 at London Metropolitan University.
The design draws on the ornate floral patterns of 18th century Spitalfields Silks — a textile tradition rooted in East London — and reinterprets them through contemporary digital fabrication. The garment was designed using CAD software and 3D printed from flexible TPU, exploring the potential of digital technology in fashion and wearable design.
